The Worst of Dot TV

Some of you will have heard about the new domain, dot TV. Supposedly, it is the for the next generation of web sites that are, well, more TV like. You know how the dull old weather.com that gives out boring temperatures and predictions, but weather.tv will take you “live at the eye of the storm.” That is the general idea. Personally, I’ve never checked out a dot TV web site, but I’ve been thinking about what would make the worst of the “more TV like” web pages.

What would you least like to see? Post your worst imaginings with a short tag line to heighten the horror. Okay, here are mine:

hillarydance.tv
–“Shake your booty! Shake your booty!”

proctology.tv
–“Bend over. Let’s have a looksy.”

I take it you’re not talkign about the Tuvalu sites? They have a country code of .tv - they intend to cash in on this (I think it’s a small S. Pacific island)

lurkernomore– they already are.

Check out http://www.tv to see what they’re all about. Example: free.tv has a price tag of $100,000 US. Apparently, it has been bought.

If I’m not mistaken, Tuvalu sold or plans to sell the rights to the .tv domain for around US$50 million. This works out to about $5000 per capita (no, I don’t think they distributed it that way). The previous GDP of Tuvalu was somewhere around US$10 million.
