Great. Now I’m all hungry.
like this is a good thread for avoiding that on the best of days…
So should we tell Mrs. Plant V.3.0 to make a quadruple batch of matzoh soup?
I am making my toe curling good chicken enchiladas for din din. Be jealous!
Serve it with a side of matzoh soup and flytrap will be at your door in nuttin’ flat.
She forgot, even though I showed her Swampy’s post.
Ha!
I hate depression and Alzheimer’s and grief.
Irked, came home. contemplating fish tacos for dinner. This is my new truck. i’ll have to consider a name.
BURN THE HERETIC!!!

You are a very, very sick person, and should consult your psychiatrist or clergyman immediately.
Very nice, doggio!
I’ve gotten two assignments turned in and I have three more to go. One is only revisions so it hopefully shouldn’t take long. I hope I can get at least two of them done tomorrow.
Flytrap, I may have mentioned this, but I happen to like Matzoh ball soup. What’s your beef with it? Or is your wife just a bad cook? (Maybe she’s found a Hamburger Helper for it?)
re the matzoh balls themselves, does Mrs Plant v3.0 make floaters or sinkers?
Nice truck!
All this talk of food and I can’t smell or taste a thing
I think though I may make 40 clove chicken tomorrow.
Chicken and garlic yum!
Or, get rabbinical approval.
Now I really want to make matzoh ball soup with bacon.
And I don’t even think I’m joking, hrm.

Nice truck, doggio!
I’ve never had matzoh ball soup, with or without bacon, am I missing anything?
Quiet night yesterday, watched a film and the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, then went to bed. Today I have been over to my friend’s place to feed her cats - all three have been accounted for. One is a house-cat so he was still inside, the cat who was indoors all night has gone out and the cat who was outdoors has come in. I’m going over again this afternoon and should have the outdoors cat back in for the night as he’s getting on a bit and needs his warm bed. The currently indoors cat is independent and will happily spend the night outside although she can get into the conservatory through the locking catflap so I don’t need to be concerned about whether she’s in or out.
I might leave them extra rations of food tonight so that I don’t need to go over there in the morning, although I could make a quick visit and still not be too late getting to work. Decisions, decisions.
Oh well, time to start the day’s domestic goddessry!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 62 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 for the day. It’s also foggy out.
Nice wheels doggio though I hesitate to say truck. Truck means open flatbed which one may or may not cover.
flytrap mayhaps Ms. Plant V.3.0 is plannin’ on makin’ you a quadruple batch of matzoh soup today so you can have it for N.O.L. the whole week. I want matzoh soup with bacon too.
Today’s plans include deheathenization, N.O.L. which will either be eaten out or will be sammiches cause I ain’t cookin’ and laundry. Feel the excitatement!
Now I need more caffiene and should feed rumbly tummy. Then at some point purtification for deheathenization must commence.
Happy Sunday Y’all!
I’m right there with you. Too greasy and these days, too omnipresent. I hate when I order a salad and it shows up with bacon on it. At least with breakfast orders, I have the option of sausage links. I used to love bacon as a kid, but now, I avoid it. So sari, you and I can go for a nice bacon-free meal.
Paula Poundstone was hilarious!!! She went non-stop for an hour anna half, and my face hurt from laughing. Her show is pretty much unscripted - she just talks about all kinds of stuff and interacts with the audience. Last night, one of the people she talked to was an undertaker - that was comedy gold. Plus she accused everyone of working for the CIA since we were so close to DC. One woman she talked to was actually retired CIA!
We got home at 9:30, which was great. We had time to wind down and chill and still get to bed at a decent hour… OK it was 11 - just a tad indecent for us, but it worked. I got up around 6:30 to take the pup out and feed her, and shortly ago, **FCD **got up. We’re all chillin’ in here right now. Such a warm family moment.
Tonight is Japanese Steak House night - yum! Today is laundry day - rah! Oh yeah, and it’s our 29th anniversary - I guess the elopement worked out, huh?
Happy Sunday!
PS - I’ve never had matzoh ball soup. I envision it as a boring chicken broth with big fat dumplings floating in it - am I close?
**
Happy Fairychativersary!!!
**
Chicken soup with dumplings made from the Bread of Affliction floating in it.
Sort of like little balls of spackling paste.
Aw, thanks, swampy!
Incidentally, puppeh isn’t limping. Either it was an owie that’s all better or when daughter came over last night, she figured out what the problem was and fixed it. Either way, puppeh is fine! Well, except that she keeps trying to eat a rocking chair. idiot dog…
