The "zoom zoom" boy.

Is that the same boy in the newer Mazda comercial that takes place in some kind of arena? The blond kid, could be a girl.

The boy in the original “zoom zoom” commercials was Micah Kanters. To me, he looks very different from the kid in the arena commercial. Micah Kanters is 18 years old now, and the kid in the new commercial looks much younger.

Oh man, I remember those commercials. They ran for years, and the Zoom Zoom Boy never aged a day. Creepy.

*Micah Kanters. * At last, I have a name. For years I lived with the incandescent desire to beat that hateful little fucker’s smug whispery face in with a tire iron and bury him in a shallow grave by the interstate. It’s road trip time, Kanters. AHAHAHAHAHAHA

On the other hand, if they’ve started making commercials with a new kid, it may necessitate more than one trip. This complicates matters.

He does look very different. Never can tell for sure, though, what with the magic of Hollywood.
Weird commercial.

Yeah, he is cute. Can’t have that!
Nice car, too.

Cute is fine. I have no problem with cute per se. Lemurs are cute. If Mazda instead had filmed a bunch of lemurs frolicking about for their commercials, and said: “Here are some lemurs. They have nothing to do with cars, but they’re cute aren’t they? These lemur images were brought to you by Mazda.” --then I might very well own a Mazda today. Advertising is funny that way.

Perhaps it is. I’ll never know, because I have sworn never to own or willingly enter a car manufactured by Mazda BECAUSE OF MICAH “ZOOM ZOOM” KANTERS. “Zoom zoom?” “Zoom zoom?” Let’s hear you “Zoom zoom” when your mouth is filled with broken teeth, you creepy disgusting little refugee from The Shining. Tell your mom Shelley Duvall that I hope you zoom zoom straight to HELL.
