There are stupid questions-A Fill in MMP

Bibs, here’s a good luck goose to help you jump higher.

Man, you guys get stuff done on the weekends. I feel like such a slug. No, I don’t–otherwise I’d be winging through the air heading toward the woods. (I found a big green slug in the flower bed at the back. Couldn’t kill it in clean conscience, but I could push it onto the dustpan and then FLING.

Should take it about five days to get back here.

We just finished up our housekeeping. Laundry’s on, kitchen’s clean, and a very thorough vacuuming was done. Now, if only I had the same ambition for yardwork. I just can’t face trying to clean out all the dandelions growing in the oddest places.

Sending bookkitty good vibes (well, some anyway - I’m gonna need most of mine tomorrow)

You’ll do great, BibKitty!! After all, you’re a Cool Kid!

Well, I couldn’t just sit. I just finished installing the blinds in the bedroom. **FCD ** put up the vanity light in the bathroom - boy, between the new fixture and the white walls, it’s BRIGHT in there!! Mornings should be interesting…

But now I have quit. Except for getting the last load of clothes out of the dryer. Oh, and the chickie was nummers. I made 3 extra pieces, so we’ve got a couple more meals out of it. Yay!

Home from a day in the sun. Although the Corbi pup was not able to compete due to her “female condition”, Gavi was cleared for running, and managed to get her first ever agility title. Some people can manage that in a weekend… it took us two years.

FCM… I’m still a little hungry… did you say you had extra chicken??? I’m really pathetic when I beg just right…

Congratulations to Gavi and Fetchund!

Jeep is shiny and vacumned. I am tired.

Lots of good vibes going out to BibKitty. We’ll want an update after Tuesday, of course.

Yay for Gavi-pup!

I took a short nap, then went to Target AGAIN, and then to Barnes & Noble briefly. Then I was a good girl and came home to mow and weed a bit. Now I’ve de-pollinated in the shower and am considering what to have for a rather late din-din. Not all that hungry.

I should do something productive, but I think I might just sit on the couch and read for a while. I’ve been reading much fewer books than usual lately and need to catch up…

Back later, maybe…

GT

Good luck vibes right back 'atcha!

Good job Gavi and Fetchund!

We have a fire weather warning tomorrow, bobbio and Bookcat, you might be busy. I’ll keep the cat indoors.

Enjoy the new knees, rosie! Call us! Text us! Send smoke signals!

I won’t know anything until I get a letter advising me of an interview date or telling me ‘thanks for applying, try again next year.’
I should know by the middle of June. It’s an agonizingly sloooooow process.

I am listening to the Calgary feed on NHL.com. I just heard an interesting commercial for an unfinished furniture store:
Chair: “I’m on all fours shown’ my wood”

Goodness.

Am I the last? Am I?

Nope, I’ll be around for another 42 minutes

Well, I have 50 minutes to cram food in…
actually I didn’t have much of an appetite today, especially after the friends I thought were going to take me to the hospital said they never got that impression from things I said. Whatever - the long version of that story will be on my blog in a few minutes
My other friend came by and helped me lug some stuff upstairs so I could get my suitcase ready. I’ll be getting up early tomorrow so I can do my last minute stuff - my ride will be here around 9am
G’nite.

Will someone please post a link to Rosie’s blog? I forgot to bookmark it…

Not even close. Not many west-coasters here, it seems. I guess Jahdra doesn’t come in here on Sunday nights. Who are the other west-coasters?

…it’s 10:40 p.m. on the west coast.

And alas, my week of holidays comes to a close. Back to the grind tomorrow! I’m terrified of what’s piled up in my in-box, but doing my best to not think about it until I get there. Today we finally had warm, sunny spring weather–I even heard (but didn’t glimpse) the hummingbirds. I will have to get the feeder filled.

I have enjoyed playing along with the MMP-people, but probably won’t be able to keep up until the next round of holidays.
