Seriously, Sampiro, I just had to stop in and say that you wrote an excellent letter.
This is the first time I’ve heard the issue framed that particular way. Is this a common theme that I just haven’t been aware of before? I have no idea what goes on in the mind of a swing voter, but this might be a way to sway some of them by appealing to fairness. Can’t say its special rights if all you want is what the Manson family gets.
Not that it matters, because we all know [she’s going to Hell anyway.

With the context, I wouldn’t be particularly astonished to find out that the writer was one of those particular flavour of apocalyptic Christians who regard Manson as a persecuted prophet/returned Christ.
