Checking in frequently, and presumably keeping up to date on this thread, but not responding is just wicked weird. I’m going to assume she’s got a busted keyboard or something.
calm kiwi, you showed me understanding and kindness once when I didn’t even realize it was needed. You are a kind and sweet person. If by some chance things haven’t gone well and as a result you’re reluctant to return here, I hope you will give us a chance to do the same for you.

shirley - it’s interesting that she has been logging on but not posting - could it be that (in my suspicious, having been single girl mind), that someone else could be logging on from cookie memory?
Jesus, that writes really bad…but, as someone else said, it is unusual for her not posting for a while…god, why is it we always think the negative? 
I happen to have calm kiwi’s telephone number and IM nick. I will call her up in bout 6 hours or so because its is like 6.45 in the morning in NZ right now.
I dont think it should be a major panic situation because I chatted with her brother and he didnt report anything unusual.(Although I didnt ask him about the date). As with her not responding to emails, let me assure you guys that she almost never checks her emails or maybe does it once in 15 days or so.
I will post the progress as soon as I get home from college and call her up. My bad for not having checked this thread earlier.

I think I’ve read somewhere that she has a kid (a son maybe?) of computer-use age. It occurs to me that maybe he’s been using the computer, and if she has the SDMB set as her homepage, or something, it would just automatically log activity against her account.

OK guys, I spoke to her on the phone. She seems to be allright (other than a mild flu bout) and we can give all those weird conspiracy theories a rest.
I didnt specifically ask her about the date because all I wanted to know that she was allright. So maybe the doper community will have to wait until she starts posting again.
As TellMeI’mNotCrazy said, she does have a child who surfs the net and I bet her homepage is set to the dope boards and maybe thats the reason she pops up as active from time to time.

Sorry, syrup is reserved for only axed murdered dopers. Even then they have to produce a Certificate of Death and a note from their mother.
