FWIW, Opal and JC, there are exactly three things I prefer not to eat (two of which require gunpoint for me to shove down my gullet). None of them involve cheese or vegetables. And my brother may well be there. I think you two have seen him eat;)

Now she tells me she is planning to go a-cabining after a stint of some undetermined time at the party. So you’ll either be cramped or not.
JC let me know if one of your sammiches will be cheese+veg and if not I’ll try to bring one. I gotta know in advance though because I’m pretty sure they need notice ahead of time.

Sufficient support for meatless options? What can I say, I shamelessly play both sides of this fence. I can party with grilled tuna AND a meatless wonder-wich.

Carpooling is a really good idea.

Yeah JC doesn’t have a convenient parking lot. The bastard.
If I get the van cleaned out I may be able to take a few people, but I can’t make any promises on when I’ll be arriving or leaving so it might not really be a good idea. Plus I may decide to take the car. Backing out of that driveway in the dark was a nightmare at Halloween.
As to carpooling, moi and I will be coming from downtown Baltimore, so we can take 2 (3 small and/or freindly) other Dopers. Or we could go with somebody else who’s dying to drive.
Tip on parking: if you’re planning to leave early, (Like, before 11pm) park across the road in the empty lot. (Assuming that’s still there and available for parking)
I’m still negotiating the use of the lot. Everyone play nice or Ol’ man Lineberry has been know to rearrange paints jobs with bird shot.
And I ain’t kidding.

However I will be bringing the motorcycle so that will reduce the number of cars by one. Am I going to be the only biker there?
