Isn’t the Marketplace Cafe closing/closed? I guess we’ll have to find a new place.
I work in Minnetonka and live downtown, so I’d prefer either central or western locations. As for those of you that don’t like parking downtown–you can park in the Target store ramp and if you spend $20 (and who can’t drop $20 at Target) you get a free hour of parking.

I also liked the Saturday thing - I’m downtown on Thursdays but it’s easier on a home day to come downtown (no boss looming, yanno?)

Congrats on 135 days. From my experience the first 30 were the hardest. After that things seemed to get a whole lot better every day.
Good luck. Hit meetings, listen and do what your sponser says (even when you know your sponser is wrong. You’ll (probably) find that your sponser is right. Took me a bit to figure that out. Then again I can be stubborn. And stupid)
<total hijack>My parents went on a cruise. When they came back they meantioned an odd thing they saw on all the cruise ships. They said that ‘Bill W’ always had a room reserved for his friends on the ships. They thought it odd that he was on all the cruises they had been on and that he must have a lot of friends. After laughing for a bit I explained who Bill W. was and that they advertise the AA meetings as meetings for friends of Bill W. </total hijack>

Also, I hate parking in downtown Minneapolis, and have discovered that it is possible to take the light rail! It does go from Bloomington, as well, so you guys down south can take it in, also.
I missed whatever it was that Dangerosa organized, but then the last month has been hectic. I was also thinking that we needed to find Gazelle to get another lunch organized. (Can you share your list of e-mail addresses?)

I’m planning on noon, Friday. Someone is trying to schedule a meeting, I told her I had prior commitments noon-1. However, now she’s talking about maybe Thursday. So I MIGHT be up for a late lunch.
Should we open a new thread with a title that actually references lunch on Friday?
