They really *can't* go home again

Not these people in Sweden. They’re entire town is being moved 2 miles east. They will have their homes bought from under them and offered a new property in the new town. The land is just too unsafe to live on anymore.

And, yes, I posted this just because I thought of that headline.

Meanwhile, in China, they have a right to go home if they so wish

Could be worse. At least the mining company is giving them a place to live. At some places in the US, companies have ruined the groundwater and the river, and gave nothing.
