Nah, but those people who forget to write the second " symbol, you know the one that is supposed to mark the end of a quotation, so you never really know where the quotation ends, or maybe start thinking that "hey, maybe everything they ever wrote after that, ever, was still part of that original quotation too, so that everything they ever wrote after that was part of this super-duper-quotation that just went on and on forever and forever and this makes you really nervous because you’re suddenly dealing with a really, really long quotation that never seems to end and it gives you this cosmic perspective on things and everything and you realize that human existence is oh but vanity, vanity, the vanity of vanities… Yeah, those people really suck. They just bum me out, man.
Pretty obviously, it’s a parody (and not much of an exaggeration) of how many people (especially the right) talk about the bogeyman of the week. Communists, socialists, liberals, Muslims, poor people, whatever. “They hate our freedom!”
The OP is absolutely right, and we’re working to stop those people, because somebody has to.

I know! “Many people” hate all that is decent and we must oppose them with every fiber of our being. They will not rest until every one of us lies dead or slavering in our own filth. The conflict between us, who possess true knowledge of good and evil, versus them, who only claim to possess it but in reality have minds warped by fear and envy, is building to a climax that will determine the course of human history!
