Can you give cites about your stupid post? Can you give figures? Can you defend it in any way?

I haven’t read many of Thin Lizzy’s posts (those of us with non-moderator privileges should not take them for granted), but two of them in this thread seem to show (s)he can deal with sarcastic comments pretty well:

‘Doing a Gaudere’ is making a grammar or spelling mistake in a post criticizing someone else’s spelling or grammar. For samclem to have done the equivalent to Thin Lizzy, he would have needed to write a brief drive-by of an OP that managed to be thoroughly stupid, cliche and irritating in only a couple of sentences.

Well, I guess we’ll have to call it doing a samclem when you misspell a poster’s name in a thread dedicated to attacking him/her.

I assume it means black and white thinking, such as an inability to form thoughts like “I disagree with Democrats’ principles, but it doesn’t necessarily follow from this that they eat their young.” But that’s just a guess on my part.
