Wow, I just noticed this thread. So basically the OP has a problem that I am a Republican? I think a moderator should be a little bit more impartial. Not that they should not have their own opinions, but it is unusual to see a mod get so bent out of shape.
Why don’t you try attacking my IDEAS instead of attacking me personally?
Basically, no. There are plenty of smart Republicans hereabouts–smart, funny, decent folks. I’ll vary my routine this time, and tip my hat to Shodan as a prime example.

Re-read the OP. He did attack your (dearth of) ideas in which you expressed a stupid partisan joke (violating the laws of humor and the rules of the GQ Forum) as if it had any meaning.
After he noted the poverty of your thought, then he offered the tentative excuse that you were too callow to have done better. He drew no conclusion that you were a Republican. (Your post could easily have been submitted by someone who hates the Democrats but tolerates the Republicans and does not appear to have been sufficiently witty to have been submitted by an O’Rourke or a Buckley.)
Most of your GQ questions have been legitimate. So far, all the “ideas” you have expressed have been neither Republican nor valid.
No, you’ve been pitted because you’re a tiresome git. And the reason your “ideas” haven’t been attacked is that quite simply, you don’t seem to actually have any ideas. An “idea” is generally considered to contain a bit of thought original to its poster. The “ideas” you’ve been posting are little more than tired and long-discredited platitudes from the right side of the political spectrum.
How about your unqualified and unconsidered suggestion to expel from the country all the (unidentified) people whom you consider potentially capable of becoming, supporting, or being vaguely related to some unidentified group of terrorists?

It’s not a record. I recall a member that got pitted purely from the “Welcome to our newest member” tag. As far as I can remember, that person never posted even once.

I don’t have the thread handy, but I believe the person in question’s name was NAMBLA or something very close to that effect. Googling this acronym will probably give you an idea as to why the pitting happened.
