Sorry, maybe that was too clever. It always bugged me that the characters on “Speed Racer” always wore monograms that didn’t match their names. Speed had a “G” on his shirt, and Trixie had an “M”. For some reason, Sparky got it right.

Actually, the “morning” music from the William Tell Overture is the third movement. The first movement doesn’t really evoke anything to me, the second is “the storm” (at least according to the Mickey Mouse cartoon The Band Concert), and the fourth movement is the Lone Ranger theme.
