OK…so maybe this is indicitive of my complete lack of a life, but I did a vanity search and discovered that I’ve been mentioned in a thread in which I have not participated, by someone I don’t think I’ve ever interacted with.
I exist!! Someone noticed me!!

Hehe, I’ve had a couple of threads like that. Recently Evilbeth mentioned me in a thread about McDonalds, because she remembered that I just got certified, so I should know the cooking temps of the fried products. ::sniff:: I’ve never been so proud!
Yeah, and I just noticed that I’d made someone’s sig… ManyCrows has “Eek! A murder! Courtesy of Rasa” in their sig. Woo!
Rasa, I aspire to be consdiered worthy of being quoted in someone’s sig. I am in awe of you.

I don’t think I’ve ever been mentioned in a thread without posting in it first to remind people that I exist. At least I think I exist… think therefore I am… Argh, ramble too much!
Well, there was the “Does anyone else not like Totoro” thread. But that was about the Anime, not me.
I got mentioned in the Nice People thread in IMHO before I posted to it. flyboy made my day.
Mauvaise quoted me in her sig my first week here. I called her an impertinant wench for stealing The Last Word from me. 
I’m not sure I’ve ever been mentioned even when I post to a thread.

Well, you caught my attention by complimenting me in the Pit thread on sweatpants! That validated ME, and I’m so needy that I’ll probably never forget it and will look for your names all over the boards and read every post I run across.
Is that validating? Or would it be better if I actually licked the bottom of your shoes?
And lookie here. Now you’ve done gone and validated me, Cranky. We validate each other. Well, there’s no getting around it. We exist for each other.
And I couldn’t help but compliment you on that thread. I’m still cracking up. Especially on your second post.
