Things to do when one is bored?

Well i am just sitting home right now with a couple of friends on a boring sunday night. I live in Helena, Montana…its about 35,000 and its a pretty small town and sometimes like Sunday nights…theres not a whole lot to do so i was wondering if anyone here knows of some fun, creative and entertaining things to do when your bored. I am kind of looking for something that will give me a rush and maybe even a little mischief, a couple tips and pointers. You know something more than just go to the movies. Well anyway, thats all just looking for some idea’s to break away from never being bored again.
Thanks in return.

Well I live in a small town in Northern California. There is absolutly nothing going on in this town after eight o’clock. It basically shuts down. This being the case, we adventure starved teenagers climb on top of local business and hang out on the roof. We ocassionally bring picnic items and have a little snack. We also go to the beach and have campfires about every other night. Then we scare ourselves silly with imagenary sightings of masked murederers with knives and run home as fast as our little legs can move. This also keeps us in pretty good physical shape considering sand is VERY hard to run through. I don’t think that it is really an option for you considering you are in montana, but maybe you could go to the woods or something. Well I hope these suggestions help. Don’t get into to much trouble.

I think that both of you need to do something more constructive. Like clean up your rooms. Or hell, come and clean up MY rooms. Obviously you’ve got too much time on your hands.

Masturbation, taking drugs, vandalizing property…

The possibilities are ENDLESS!

50 Things To Do If You’re Really Bored

[/Shameless Self-Promotion]

I live in a formerly small town that has grown way too fast for it’s own good. So basically what that means is all the woods and open fields we used to romp through are now houses and small businesses but the town still basically closes around dusk so I’m double-fucked. Ok I pretty much have nothing useful to add, take care now, bye bye then!

Morrison’s Lament may be on to something there, although vandalizing property never did anything for me. Personally, I long for boredom, but rarely have time for it. And when I do have time, I’m too busy thinking to be bored.

I once served on a ship with a captain who spent endless hours and days staring silently out to sea. Once, in his presence, another deckhand was warning me (I was the new deckhand) about the boredom of the job. I replied that I didn’t think that would bother me, because I’m never bored.

Suddenly the silent captain leapt to his feet, his face lit with joy! Yes, he shouted! Me too! I’ve never been bored a minute in my life! I can always ** think!**

I know it’s hard for some people, but my prescription for boredom: thinking. Not daydreaming, although there’s a place for that too. Think!
