I do not care about what we used to do and why we did it that way.
IMOP there is a reason why we do the things that we do and you might want to understand that reason before you change the way we do things.
From my boss: “Something happened this morning that has me very concerned, it could be really serious, I am very concerned that things aren’t being done correctly”
That statement always precedes her lecturing me, like I’m one of her children, about something trivial that I maybe did wrong. It’s always something that I almost never do wrong and that she never does correctly, like put a customer’s file in the correct place, or give someone else a phone message. Last time this happened it was because she couldn’t find a file that was in the correct place but she thought she could catch me making a mistake.
Maybe if she’s so concerned she can stop playing computer solitaire all day and spending hours every week getting her nails done and feet massaged so she knows what’s going on in her own business.
