Another vote. If a guy is ripped I wonder how much time he spends at the gym or playing sports and pretty much know our lifestyles won’t match up. Plus, just esthetically I don’t find it appealing.
Guys fighting over a girl (or in general). It’s just so pathetic.
There’s a look to skin that I dislike, which I can only describe as ‘shiny’. I’m not sure whether it’s a product of makeup or photoshopping or what, but it often accompanies the Too Much Makeup look. A while back there were ads for some sort of skin treatment on the subway in Toronto, where the models had that look. Fake. Unattractive. Ugh.
Add me to the list that finds big fake tits a turn-off. For so many people, the bigger (and obviously faker), the better. Not me. A nice, small A or B cup is heaven to me. I’ve found that the smaller the breast, the more sensitive the nipple, generally speaking.
Big hair and heavy makeup. This look just makes me think she’s a slut.
And dare I say, the classic hourglass figure. While not a turn-off, I’m much more attracted to the less curvy, more boyish body type. And I’m a completely (as far as I know) straight male.
I only know this person’s name because I was walking through the mall yesterday and she was on a billboard for something, but evidently there’s someone named Kimora that’s some sort of celebrity related to the fashion world, or something? Anyway, she pretty much embodies everything that turns me off, even though it appears she dolls herself up in an effort to appear “attractive”. Ugh.
There’s nothing like a warm smile and infectious enthusiasm, I must agree. Perky to the point of being annoying, no, but a great attitude is a huge turn on.
In fact, most of that old fashioned lingerie leaves me cold, as do extra feminine touches on things like bathing suits–for instance ruffles on a string bikini.
As far as I know long hair on guys is just a fashion statement, and was never something that was meant to be sexy as such. From my male perspective, it seemed that in th 1970s when so many of us wore long hair, most guys could pull it off, and still can. But once in awhile I do see a guy with long hair that just looks effeminate. Not that the person looks effeminate overall, though that can happen. It’s more a case of the hair looking too primped and processed. I can’t quite put my finger on it, possibly since I come from the generation where we fought with our parents to be able to wear our hair long, and it sort of became standard.
Did anybody mention whale tails yet? They are a classic example of of two things–low-rise pants and thong underwear–either of which can be sexy without the other, but together they just look ridiculous.
Not that I object to you finding it un-sexy of course, I’m just puzzled as to why there’s a perception of it as less functional, when the basic purpose is pretty much the same.
Got it - no VPL but no chaffed labia as from going commando. Ignorance fought.
(though I still reserve the right to find middle age women who who wear thongs unattractive if worn not for your reasons, but because the porn starletts do. I could come up with my justufication for wearing skater boi baggy shorts myself, but I’d be pretty pathetic nonetheless)
