I was one of the first to agree with Demo and since that time this has turned into the most amusing Pit threads that I have seen in months. This is some Old School Pit Thread shit.

I don’t know Demo or Lobsang and I doubt that they’ve even heard of me. I’m not part of any Clique or Crew or Gang so far as I am aware. I’m not sucking anyone’s dick for love or money. I still think that the fake “I’m leaving” threads are idiotic. It’s hard to keep track but I think that that makes me Not A Pussy.

I have this nagging feeling that this whole thing is part of a bigger whoosh. Either that or the SF Dopefest is going to look like a geek version of Westside Story. Clearly Demo’s gang will be the Sharks.

Actually, I think the reason it has been debated over and over is because not everyone agrees with that statement. If everyone thought fat jokes weren’t funny then there would be nothing to debate, would there?

But then I’m one who is very very sick of the PC police telling me what’s acceptable to joke about (nothing) and what’s not (everything). What I joke about and find amusing doesn’t define my actual values and beliefs.

I’ve always had the impression that people like this probably get pushed around alot IRL. So they come here on the internet and try to lash out or “get back” at people for pushing them around.

Lobsang posted a disingenuous OP and was called on it by Demo. The same thing has happened hundreds of times in the year and a half I’ve been here and you’ve been here for two years longer. Why does this OP in particular outrage you? It’s no different from thousands of other posts in this forum.
