Kaisch just said some reasonable stuff. I expect him to be expelled from party any second.
Ms Fiorina looks better, perhaps she has recently fed on the blood of the innocent.
If she’s spending a lot of time in Washington, I presume they’re shipping it in.
Did Rubio just chug some water but erased my memory of it with his HypnoToad staring power?
Ted Cruz invented a new type of flat tax. His has two different brackets.
Ted Cruz is killing 'em! No, really, couple folks in the front row, dead as a doornail.
the flies are circling Kasich…
Rand Paul’s coming off as the most mature and sensible, imho.
I made it through a half hour: a personal record that I’m quite proud of. I turned it off when Cruz started his martyr speech, after having heard more voodoo bullshit than any person should have to hear from the rest of them. Holy shit. The only decent thing to come from this up to this point was Carson showing that he really has no fucking clue, and will buy into whatever crackpot economic model is presented to him.
Like winning a mambo contest against Steven Hawking.
Gold, Mr. Cruz? Gold? Seriously, gold?
I think Fiorina looks like a walking corpse. Very robotic and unappealing.
Cruz whined about the moderation instead of answering a question about the budget deal. What an ass.
Not impressed at all with Bush or Rubio.
Trump seems to be making a bit of a comeback tonight. I think he’ll be the consensus winner.
Kasich is mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore. Yeah, right, okay. Still gonna drop out before Christmas.
Rubio is getting a lot of applause. I think he handled the missing vote issue pretty well.
“Donald Trump would be a better President every day of the week, and twice on Sunday, than Hillary Clinton.” --Governor Huckabee
Wild applause!
I realize that I could be an anomaly, but I went from making roughly $24,000/ yr to making around $39,000/ yr from 2008 to 2015. I was making about 60,000 before people stopped building things in 2008, but I got health insurance again in 2014. Something I was lacking in the intervening years. Now my family is also insured, which makes it a lot easier to survive. It seems amazing to me that these people would run on trying to “take this country back!” (Country!?) not sure whether or not that should be capitalized.
Really? He really said that? (I’m not watching, cause I don’t have tv)
Seems to me Bush is circling the toilet after turning in a third horrendously weak performance. I think he’ll most likely drop out after losing NH. The novelty of buffoonish Trump has worn off, and his new somewhat more serious persona makes him just another candidate. After his poll numbers fall back to Earth he’ll lose interest and drop out. Carson will win Iowa and then blow up spectacularly thereafter. I think this race will eventually whittle down to Kasich vs Rubio with a bunch of unelectable barnacles hanging on as long as possible.
You heard it here first, folks.
McCain! McCain! McCain!
Or maybe Romney.
Oh, lordy. I’m so pleased, I’m going to go touch myself.
Pics, or it didn’t happen.
I saw the first half (ex-New Yorker ex-Kansan here, so, like Jeb, I had cooler things to do)… I thought Fiorina and Trump came across as pretty reasonable and articulate (makes sense in a economically focused debate) – she might get a slight bump out of this. Rubio did well, I thought. For once, Kasich’s “this is what I did in Ohio” schtick was relevant to the question asked – but it sounded like he was running to be Hillary’s running mate! Jeb had the best “answer” to the opening question about weaknesses – but he didn’t have much to contribute after that.
