It seems that if I need to use the john, the closer I get to the john the more the urge hits me. Is this my bladder responding to my thoughts? My bladder thinking on its own? Does anyone else get this feeling?

I know that if I don’t have to go the bathroom, and I go into the bathroom for some reason (to get a towell or something) odds are I will feel the need to use the bathroom and urinate a small amount before I leave. I’m pretty sure its just an association we create.
Yep associations…when I go to shave in the morning the minute I put the shaving cream on… bata bing bata boom…I have to take the morning dump. It seems as if the shaving cream is causing the urge but it is an association.

Thanks…but those two examples pertain to the beginning of the urge. Mine gets greater, sometimes like my bladder can’t hold it anymore…
its scary at times.

I know what ya mean Banks…I can decide before I leave work that I can hold it until I get home…the minute I pull into the driveway…it’s all I can do to make it inside…I have to hit the door at a run…

Strange, but that doesn’t happen to me. Usually I get the urge to go when laying in bed but, no I wasn’t a bedwetter.
