By Og its been 9½ months. So is this thread the son or the daughter of the ATMB thread? 
I am curious, why do you feel that thread should not have been locked and as you had the second to last post in it, why did it take you so long to start this protest thread?
I know **TubaDiva ** likes to keep ATMB tidy and after your joke post with the server is on fire, probably felt the thread was done.

The answers given were insufficient, at least to justify a thread-locking. As for the time-delay, I think I covered that in the OP.
Although, come to think of it, maybe I should’ve posted the original thread in the BBQ Pit in the first place . . . that’s the kind of thing one is never quite sure about, when it comes to discussing Board policy.

BG, you’re a reasonable guy most of the time. The question was answered in clear and concise terms. No further discussion was needed. Even if you truly feel agrieved by the locking, the statute of limitations on that oughta be about a week. C’mon.

Answer to question in original ATMB thread: No, you can’t call for revolution in a thread on the SDMB, because fomenting revolution is illegal in the US.
Why original ATMB thread was locked: Because it was answered. ATMB isn’t generally known for long, looping discussions on such topics; in fact, the original thread had several suggestions that you bring up related issues in GD.
Besides, it says somewhere in the posting guidelines that you shouldn’t bump a thread after about three months; why is this an issue now, after three times that long?

Which bit were you unclear on: the bit where it was pointed out that your hypothetical campaign would be illegal, or the bit where it would be against the terms of service of the board? Your question was answered in full by the first two responses. By the end of the thread you were just making OG jokes. What on earth more do you want, a cookie?

Is that a cookie? I hate that file. If I delete it after downloading then it either makes me do it again, or it displays the front page in code gibberish. Sometimes I go months without it asking again, and then sometimes I have to do it 3 or 4 times a day.
