This Saturday I’m getting married! Next week I’ll be back with pictures of the ceremony, reception, and other wonderful wedding stuff that happens in Las Vegas this weekend.
We are so excited! And have I told you our cake story? It is an awesome cake story! We ordered 3 quarter sheet cakes (lemon with lemon custard filling, marble with chocolate fudge filling, and chocolate with chocolate mousse filling) instead of a regular wedding cake because 3 sheet cakes is $120 and the three tiered standard wedding cake is like $700. We put in the order about 6 weeks ago and then 3 weeks ago I got a call from the Excalibur saying that they had a new bakery that wants to show off their stuff with our wedding and would we mind if they took our cake choices and turned them into a huge three tiered wedding cake in our wedding colors at no cost to us? Of course we would love that! Now we get the picture perfect cake that feeds 80 people for $120. Score!
Clearly evidence this union is meant to be. Our wedding day was one of the most ridiculously awesome days of our lives. I’m wishing you all that and more.
A friend just linked me to LeBron James’ Ego’s Twitter. To be honest, I’m only vaguely aware of who exactly LeBron James is, but this is pretty hilarious.
I recently discovered the Zero Punctuation video game reviews by Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw. They’re hosted at The Escapist and are animated shorts. They’re hilarious, unless, of course, you are put off by swearing, scatology, sexual references, and/or guys who talk really fast.
So there’s this hilarious Wii party game based off of the Raving Rabbids franchise. I can’t describe it in any other way than totally adorable idiot rabbits play a simplified Guitar Hero-esque version of Another One Bites the Dust. Listen to the singer, he’s hilarious!
When we were playing it 4-player, the person playing the singer would flub notes so that the lines would get messed up.
I now run around the house singing ‘ANOTHER ONE BITE DUST’
