…because plastic cones your head are SO plebian. Swarovski is the way to go.
Designer Hussein Chalayan’s London Fashion Week presentation turned a lot of heads.
The design house, which describes itself as alternative luxury fashion, sent models down the runway in Swarovski-encrusted headgear.

But wait! There’s more!
If you scroll down to the bottom of the story you find out about another fashion trend ---- RHINESTONE CROCS!
Pepper Mill loves her Crocs. I gotta tel her about this.
You saw that page and focused on the headgear and the rhinestone footwear?
What about THIS?!@??
I feel sorry for the model. It’s like when you see a photo of a humiliated cat that’s scowling beneath a fluffy pink baby bonnet that’s been affixed to its head, or something.
There’s no dignity in that.

Why do you think they all look so pissed?
They should have made one that looked like an iPhone.
Idunno … I think it’s kinda cool, in an artsy-fartsy kind of way.
Cue the Devil-Wears-Prada speech about how the influence of this fashion show is going to cascade down to the lumpy rhinestone face boards that you picked up from a bin at some tragic Casual Corner.
At least the models feet were comfy…
And that vagina dress at the bottom of the page… WHY?

That looks like the sort of thing I’ve seen as a costume or cosplay, going as some famous painting.
Wait, it’s even worse! That vagina dress was just one of an entire collection of [del]vagina[/del]vulva-themed womens’ fashion wear.
Be ready for when the revolution comes … carry your own guillotine!
Wow, I really loved those clothes! I mean the rectangular head-women clothes, not the vagina dress or granny bra.
I’m entirely in favor of weird shit at fashion shows.
I can’t fathom how the writer of the article could think the rhinestone Crocs were crazier than the headboards. I can easily picture someone wearing blinged-up Crocs in real-life, but no way a sane person is going to wear one of those headboards in the real world.

The clothes were somewhat amusing, but the Witchiepoo make-up was just hideous.

The looks like one of my Aunt Pat’s bras. She use to joke she used her bras to carry a couple balls on bowling night.
