Sorry, John Carter of Mars’s Pit thread about the mail-order bride & sour honey was the best thread ever. Well, it took that little detour into women’s rights, but it came back strong afterward. That was such an awesomely weird story, and it kept on going while we read along!

I’m going to have to disagree, DreadCthulhu. Those three had maybe some of the best OPs ever; no denying that. But the Mail order bride & sour honey I think tops them as the best thread ever. That one continued on, with real-time updates, and the story got weirder and weirder and weirder as it kept chugging along. I’m hoping for another update soon…
While the Mail order bride & sour honey is definatly one of the best threads ever - easily in the top five, it can’t top the scalar weapons thread. It spawned the whole 1920’s style “Death Rays” gag, making it the winner by default.
Would it help if I sang a song, like, about a dog, maybe?
