I just can’t believe people were stupid enough to think a real mouse was hurt. Even if they were to have used a real mouse in the first segment, absolutely nothing happens to that mouse. The screen goes black and they make a whipping sound. Would these people think that real people die in plays where they do the same thing with a gun shot? Or, on old TV, did they really think the fade to black meant the actors really had sex.
Okay, so that last one isn’t quite as implausible, but you get the point. That cat video at least tried to really convince you that the cat was dead.
So disillusioned now.
