The only difference between the knitting position and the crocheting position is where the yarn sits - for crochet, it’s on the left, for knitting, on the right. And lately, I’ve been doing more crocheting than knitting for no particular reason. But it’s easier to type knit than crochet, so knit is the generic.
Good morning!! It’s in the mid-60s, so the house is open for a little while. I don’t expect it to last much past noon, but I’ll take what I can get. **FCD **is off on a ride - there’s a Montgomery County HOG rally that his chapter has a ride to. I’ve got a load in the washer, and I think 2 more to go today. The laptop is just about set up, and I need to empty the dishwasher and run the vacuum, and who knows what else.

Ok, I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. When OYKW gets up I need to wash sheets and a couple more loads of laundry. Just a neverendin’ whirlwind of excitatement around here.

Ya know, I am a fairly intelligent bear (shut up! I am too intelligent!). I am able to mulit-task, fairly good at operatin’ most common machinery, able to follow instructions, pay my own bills and make my way in this world. However, I am completely bamboozeled when it comes to puttin’ a mattress pad back on the bed after its been washed and dried. Seriously. I just spent fifteen minutes gettin’ the dang thing back on the bed. :smack:

Spousal unit painted a helmet for my sis. He’s still got to buy and apply the trim material around the edges, but I’ll share the artworkanyway. Unfortunately, it’s so shiny, the flash from the camera distorted some of it. But I still think it looks cool.
Laundry is done. Guess I should empty the dishwasher.
swampy, is the issue knowing how it goes on? We solved that dilemma by writing “Bottom” on the bottom edge with a sharpie. Stoopit king size mattresses are almost square.

Nothing on the agenda today but irk.
My mother is coming back here today. She called me the other day all upset. I’m not sure what she wants me to do.
I’d say no to coffee and OJ and orange juice.
Coffee is ick, both the taste and smell.
OJ is gross, even if he was innocent of murder (I think he was guilty) he was still guilty of abuse and real men don’t beat women. It’s not a huge leap to go from beating your SO to killing her.
Fresh squeezed orange juice is good but the commercial stuff has a bitter orange peel taste to it.
FCD wanted to know if you painted it yourself. Also, I showed the pic to my sis, and she said
