OK, I don’t know which one of you snuck into my studio and stole my clay cutting wire, but when I find out who’s responsible, I’ll track you down and give you such a pinch!!! :mad: I thought my big blue rib had been swiped too, but I found it. I’ve got 2 other cutting wires, but it’s making me crazy - I only use that tool in 2 places, and when it gets washed, it hangs over the sink. Of course, if Taz is responsible, I may never see it again…
I rolled out some slabs. One is being molded over some wood - when it dries some, I can finish its edges and put on some feet. I’ll also make some holes so I can string beads from side to side when it’s fired.
A smaller slab was cut into a diamond shape and the 4 points were rolled around a section of pipe to make an interesting dish. When it’s dried out some, it will also have the edges smoothed and shaped and feet will go on the bottom.
The round egg dish I started the other day has dried enough to take out of its mold - it’ll get feet on Firday, I think. And there’s another slab that is the first step in a large planter that I’m making for a frequent buyer of my stuff. I’ll need to roll out at least 3 or 4 more slabs to finish it - it’s a 4-part planter.
**FCD **is painting a helmet for my sister - it’s looking pretty neat - I big gremlin/ogre/monster thing in the front, a pile of skulls on one side, and evil eyes staring thru broken glass on the other. It’s gruesomely magnificent! 
So, what to thaw for supper? Whatever we have will include mushrooms. I think I’ll peruse some recipes for ideas.
Stuffed mushroom caps, ricotta cheese and spinach filling.

Sigh. I have a participant actin’ up, again. Not Mr. I Put My Hands In Garbage Disposals just so y’all know. He’s doin’ a great job at his new assignment accordin’ to his supervisor. Ms. Actin’ Up Again, however, shall soon (within 30 days) be Ms. I Ain’t Here No More. Da bear is headin’ over that way now to inform her she is on leave of absence as her supervisor who has been patient has finally said enough and wants her gone. My boss shall then send a letter to her informin’ her she’ll be exited at the end of thirty days.
Yes, I am mean enough to have all this in place already.

I know it wasn’t the pug because she refuses to go down the basement stairs. Dunno why - she’ll go down the deck stairs, and she’ll go up the basement stairs, but not down…
Can’t make stuffed mushroom caps - the mushrooms were purchase in the sliced state. Makes 'em a little hard to stuff.
Just back from picking up the Harley - it got its 25K mile service and **FCD **says it rides lots better. I guess it degraded gradually enough that he didn’t notice the problems. But it’s all good, which is great, since he’s got a long ride next week.

Here’s what I’ve decided to make. Now I just need to figure out the sides - we’ll see what’s in the fridge.
Had to leave work early because I felt really sick. 
Need to make up the hours tomorrow. I hope I’ll be well enough. I probably will. It was just sort of a stomachache.
Supper was yum. The recipe is good, but it needs a little tweaking. First off, I don’t use canned mushrooms, and half a pound of fresh 'shrooms wasn’t enough - twice as many would have been nice. Also, I used broth instead of water and bouillion, and I should have used twice as much. I served this over noodles, and we needed more of the sauce/gravy. Plus I used only one breast that I’d cut into pieces before pounding. Even at that, there was some chicken left over.
Sides, besides the noodles, were peas-n-carrots and roasted brussels sprouts. Good supper.
Howdy Y’all! I’ve been a busy bear. After I went and got all mean, I came to da cave and made dindin. We et an early dindin, then I went and mowed OYKW’s yahd. He had to go back to his place cause he had paperirk to deal with, poor thing. Then I came back to da cave and took a shower. Now i am relaxatin’ and feelin’ little sore. Methinks some Tylenol PM [sup]TM[/sup] and an earlyish bedtime are in store.

I’ve been in Chicago the past few days for work. Didn’t have much time to stop and smell the roses but it has been awesome nonetheless. I looked for the Chicago Reader in a couple newsstands but never saw it.
Dang! I’m yawnin’ my haid off here. Seriously feelin’ sleepy. Maybe I should just go lie upon the bed and watch teevee for a while. Too early for sleepy time though. YAWN
