This ought to be contentious: teh "TEH"

Sadly, I do use “teh” when making fun of people. In general, I am a Nazi about my spelling and grammar and double- and triple-check before hitting the “send” button. This is because I truly am dyslexic and if I didn’t proofread my stuff religiously, it would be completely incoherent to most people. My daughter and I have a running joke whereby we do the idiot-speak when we chat with each other – in fact, both of our computers have an icon for “teh intarwebs” that looks suspiciously like IE. I can’t help it, it makes me giggle too. FWIW, my daughter and I also call it “teh intarwebs” in spoken word. It’s our in-joke, but sadly, many of her friends (high school kids) have picked it up from her and it is becoming quite a common thing to hear around here.

QWERTY fails us once again.

I, personally, hope that never ceases to be funny.

(And yes, “teh” is past its moment. I had to get my husband to stop using it sometime last year. He picked it up from a friend. Egads, it was annoying.)

Fingers are funny things. tehy comes out about 20% of teh time, and they the other 80. But for teh, it’s 80 & the is 20. YMMV.

FYI, the teh in teh 2nd sentence was 100% natural; as were tehse last two. And teh these in the last sentence. DAMN IT! I gotta quit doing that.
