I have to deal with job stress, deal with situations at home on a daily basis, worry about our home finances, do chores I hate doing, deal with a crying baby in the evening, and everything else that deals with the kids… and just when I start thinking it is too much for me to deal with, I talk to a good friend of mine who is recently divorced with 3 kids, one of whom has cerebral palsey. He has been going back to school to learn computer programming and has just graduated, but he has no job, no place to stay, and no money whatsoever.
His situation makes me put everything into perspective and realize just how lucky I am to have a decent job, wife, 3 wonderful kids, and a home to take care of them in.
