Well, I have to admit that the article doesn’t say literally how she was removed (like, physically escorted or what), but I THINK that if flight personnel tell you you have to get off the plane, then you have to do it. Not sure what would have happened if the air marshalls had to get involved! You are right that if it’s really important to you to make a stand, that simply continuing what you are doing is probably the best way to get your message across. Nonviolent protest, as it were.
Yeah, air marshall-wise, I’m sure they’d throw your breastfeeding self into Club Fed for 15 to life. They really have lost their sense of reason in the past few years.
There are many, many things that were acceptable a few decades ago (or earlier) that our societies do not tolerate now. People can still believe those things, but they are not allowed to try and make others behave as they wish, or impose those beliefs on others. We do not give them a pass, nor should we do in this case.
I don’t care what people think, and sorry if I keep repeating this, just as long as they get off my hair.
I doubt that the plane was actually powering down the runway with flaps extended when Junior started crying for the boob. More likely the crew was getting ready to leave the gate.
Actually, on further reflection the plane was certainly still at the gate, since the article mentions a ticket agent who actually kicked the family off the plane.
Is this a scourage to our youth that will stimulate a downward spiral of sex, drugs, and Satanic rock & roll?
I don’t see a negative there.
