Is it just me, or has Nip/Tuck taken a GIGANTIC nosedive in quality this season? The plotlines are contrived and unrealistic, the characters have lost all their integrity, the dialog is amateurish…
The low point was either Christian being accused of being the carver (what, he happened to randomly not have alibis for ANY of the previous attacks? he buys some of the drug and HIDES IT IN HIS TIES? Sean starts DOUBTING HIM?), but this most recent episode may have been even worse (we had this one kid who freaked out, and RAN HOME. See, he lived two blocks from FBI headquarters, which is a highly unsecure facility. With a Koi pond.)
I agree with you, Max. I pretty much just watch it to see what outrageous thing they’ll come up with next. The obese woman fusing with the couch; good. The two frat boys glued to the third guy’s arse;excellent. Freaky fake carver victim girl feeling it while they operate on her; delicious. Matt estanged from Sean over one fight; not so much. Julia going into business with Gina:oh puhleeeease.
I noticed this as well. I think the lowest point was the arrest of Christian and his subsequent attitude, as well as lack of business, made the show plummet.
Sean working for the government because it is more satisfying? WTF!
Just like Sean said on the phone to Christian, “It was always about the money.”
