This thread goes backwards

You like the sequels better than the original? That explains a lot.

All I’m saying is, that Caspar the Friendly Ghost is a better film than Caspar the Friendly Leukemia Boy.

Is it spelled ‘Caspar’ or ‘Casper’?

Wait, isn’t that technically a prequel? Anyway, it sucked, Caspar should be a ghost, we didn’t need the back story.

ninja’d!

Thanks to all the people who sent PMs. I’m feeling a lot calmer about the situation now. Sitting in ER now with the Taller Girl for support (other offspring helping their dad clean up the living room - apparently it’s a real mess. Using Beckdawreck’s recipe for bloodstains - thank’s Beck!). Watched eight people waltz in after me and get seen first - okay, I know heart attacks take priority but I think mine is a pretty significant emergency!

I suspect the nurses of laughing behind their clipboards about my injury - first one I catch doing it I’m gonna deck them

ETA: I’m pretty sure the incident everyone’s referring to is the thing with Isadora Duncan - right? Not QUITE so bad as all that!

Here’s a helpful recipe you bleeding klutzes out there will find helpful:
One cup of white beach sand.
One cup of white school glue
(You’ll need gloves and a scrubbie)
Mix the sand and glue. Pour it over the stain, let sit 30min, scrub it with scrubbie. Let dry.
Next day chip off the blood should come right out.
Now if this a crime scene this recipe is right out. Everybody knows those never clean up, duh! Screaming “Out! Damned Spot” might help. Other than that you’re screwed, quit cleaning and work on your alibi!
(disclaimer: this is a joke. the recipe is parody, don’t really do this, folks. If youve committed a crime that requires a clean-up do the right thing, turn yourself in)

Jesus, Aspidistra, that’s a lot of blood. That’s going to leave a stain.

Aspidistra, maybe you should go to the ER. Isadora Duncan wasn’t so lucky.

Hmm, can you use a directed energy weapon to cauterize a wound?

Aaaargh! Oh crap I did something REALLY bad! Pro-tip - you know those rotating motorized vacuum heads that help you deep-clean the carpet? Turns out - bad idea to turn it upside down to start hoovering boxes on the top shelf. Those suckers are heavy!

Anyway, without going into too much gruesome detail (there’s a big goopy blood trail going from the living room table to the sofa), in an incident involving my lack of balance, a twelve-foot long scarf that was REALLY not in the right place, and said vacuum attachment, I’m currently waiting on an ambulance with something in my hand that oughtn’t to be there.

If you’re hoping to have a body part reattached, you need to keep it cold - right? But maybe not actually iced right up? Actually DO need answer fast! PMs for preference - not gonna be at my computer much for the next little while!

This looks like the kinda day when nothing can go wrong! Am I right?

I only remember Casper the Friendly Ghost from the comics years ago. But somebody told me they made a sequel that’s set before he died. Is it any good?

And we’ve been having some bad weather and equipment breakdowns lately. Here’s hoping for a better day tomorrow.

I’m not a fan of cartoon to live action movies, but the Caspar movie isn’t bad. And it’s got the girl who played Wednesday Addams in it, so that’s a plus.

If you ever so much as THINK of turning a cartoon into a live-action movie, I want you to imagine this:

Family Circus

Now, take your creativity and do something like rework one of Shakespeare’s stories for the 100th time.

Wow that is an interesting question. Who would you cast for a live action XKCD?

Would anyone be interested in seeing a live action XKCD?

Here’s a XKCD strip proving that .9 is equal to 1-

It’s pretty simple, you can read it now. No need to wait for it to be adapted into a movie.

Well, then, can anybody present a simple, clear explanation as to how .9 is equal to 1- ?

I think we need separate threads for all these discussions. I mean, we’ve got math discussions, movie discussions, whatever that doofus impersonating the dead guy is posting. It’s just going to get more confusing and disjointed from here.
