Punk was an inevitable response to both progressive rock and disco. Just as modernism was the inevitable response to romanticism. Technical skill was not really relevant to either punk or modernism.
That said, in a 21st Century video game people have expectations about how it will look and sound. You can’t get away with a Ms. PacMan arcade game anymore.

Anyone else here grow up in the 80s? Remember arcades? Boulder Dash, Dragon’s Lair, Pac-Man and the various spinoffs, pinball machines. All the arcades disappeared about the same time that single screen theaters did.

look, pal, it’s relatively simple, I am not gay or even bi.
