This thread reminds me of the first chapter of a book I read recently. The book was called Metamagical Themas, Douglas Hofstadter wrote it, and if it weren’t for the end of this sentence (by which I mean, the part of this sentence after this parenthetical comment), this sentence would contain no direct mention of this thread. The third sentence in this post (which is in this thread), might tell you that Chapter One of Metamagical Themas was all about self-referential sentences (like this one), but then again, it might not. ((Getting all the necessary references out of the way (even though they aren’t really necessary)) this thread, this sentence, this horribly nested parenthetical comment (which reminds me of the programming language Lisp (but that’s a whole 'nother thread))) the chapter contained a story which I think was called something like “This Is The Title Of This Story, Which Is Also Found Several Times In The Story Itself” which referred to itself so often that it was very difficult to understand, not unlike this thread or this post. The previous sentence in this post, which is in this thread, began with an attempt to create a lot of self-reference without much meaning, right from the very first parenthetical comment, just to “get it out of the way” but it turned out that wasn’t necessary (for two reasons), so I left it in, just to make this post (in this thread) even more confusing.
The next sentence is about this sentence. The previous sentence is about this sentence. “When preceded by itself in quotation marks, yields a sentence about this thread” when preceded by itself in quotation marks, yields a sentence about this thread. The person who posted this sentence will be 16 years old, about two hours after this post is posted, and he thought maybe he’d start a whole new MPSIMS thread about that, but then decided to hijack this thread (which still needs a name) and say it here. However, I feel the hijack is justified by all the self-reference. **This sentence[b/] contain a coding mistake, a grammer mistake, a spelling mistake, and one other mistake. Or does it?
