Sometimes threads would be more appropriate in a different forum. Probably half of what I do is simply moving threads. While I agree that posts criticizing forum choice without adding to the discussion are pointless, I don’t understand why you’re upset about it. Nor do I understand why some people get all apologetic or apoplectic when their thread is moved. It’s not going to keep you out of Harvard.
So your theory is that you always know best? And that you are the final arbiter of what forum your thoughts best fit in?

I absolutely always know best what the best forum is for my threads. It’s just that less-enlightened Moderators sometimes disagree with me and I lack the power to block their capricious whims.

Who exactly knows whats going on in my head better than me? If I post a thread, I do so in the forum that fits it best. Check my threads. Comic/movie/game/sport discussions in CS. Mundane pointless shite in MPSIMS. Genuine questions in GQ. Nothing out of the way.
Besides, my rant is more about those that just feel its their duty to tell you that you posted in the wrong thread, without actually adding anything of value to the discussion. Why did they respond? Do they get a kick out of running to Mommy to tell? These people can take a FLYING FUCK at a ROLLING DONUT and kiss the butts of my FUCKING BANGERS while they’re at it.
Here’s an example: I discuss real life criminals who match the description of criminals from Bond movies, Austin Powers and The Simpsons. Bond, Powers, and Homer… Cultural references… thats CS, right? Few posts down, ho! Brainglutton informs me that I am, in actual fact, a retard who hasnt the brains to know what forum I’m posting in. He suggests I should have posted in GQ! And this is what pisses on my scalp, had I posted in GQ, some cockmuncher would have said it belonged in CS. CHRIST ON A FUCKING MOPED.

Having your thread moved doesn’t indicate that the moderator who moved it thinks you’re stupid. Someone commenting upon your thread being in the wrong forum?
Who cares? They’re either bored and just want to chime in, or they’re just trying to be helpful. Granted, in a somewhat annoying way. Trust us, if someone on the dope wants to call you stupid, they won’t be that subtle about it for the most part.
It’s not a talent, just a personality trait. When one has mastered the art of smackdown, then arrogance becomes transmuted into talent.
