I’m watching their coverage of Ronald Reagan’s prosession, and they change cameras to show the Air Force flyover of the Capitol. Lead plane, 3 flying chevrons, and the last one is supposed to e the missing man formation.
Those asshats focused in the F-15 making the maximum climb away from his wingmen, so the missing man flyover was not seen on TV.
If there a way to fuck up a wet dream, CNN could do it.

There were a lot of planes though. 3 or 4 different sets. Maybe they just missed that it was the different one.
I gotta say, I’ve seen lots of pointless rants, but this one is up there. At least top ten.
Changing the channel might have been possible, but by the time you realize they’re not going to be showing the formation, it’s probably too late. It’s not like Storm Fluffenputzer announces beforehand “and here’s the missing man formation, whch we’re not going to show you.”

The guy in the midst of all that Ruby Ridge crap was in a Senate hearing chamber pointing at the spot on what used to be his front door where an FBI/SWAT/ATF bullet exploded through the window into his wife, and CNN broke away from that to bring you to the latest testimony from some schlub in the OJ trial.
Man, I can still hear the sarcasm dripping from the voice of that anchor when she voiced the “breaking news” thingie.
That wasn’t CNN. It happened on C-Span, too. It was a shared camera.
Can someone point me to the “Ok, he’s fucking dead, stop updating us on the location of his coffin every 2 minutes and bury his rotting ass already” thread?
I cared for about a day, but this freaky carnival atmosphere is getting tiring. As far as the wingman/plane/formation/whatever dealie, well that’s CNN, a bunch of idiots.

It was a 21-plane salute. One lead plane, then 5 groups of four planes, each in the missing-man chevron formation. All passing overhead just after the caisson arrived at the Capitol steps.
Nicely done, and Fox News didn’t miss a thing!
