My Secret Santa gift this year was a ‘throw.’ Said on the label one side is fake cashmere and the other is a soft of fake fleece. 100% acrylic on one side, 100% polyester on the other – I forget which is which.
It doesn’t go at all with my decor (dull brown plaid) but I smiled and thanked the giver warmly (note that word) and took it home and tossed it into the corner. Last night I was feeling chilly while watching tv (yep, I’m that old that that is how I ‘celebrate’ New Year’s) so I pulled it out of the wrapper and tucked it around me…and OMG! That is the most wonderful, WARM wrap I’ve ever tried.
It weighs nothing, and yet it makes me toasty warm.
So now I love it. Will thank coworker much more sincerely when I see her next.
