There is the debatable proposition that Bricker believes supporting AHCA was a wise policy move. Or, I suppose, one could debate whether or not it was a wise policy move rather than whether or not Bricker believes it was a wise policy move.

Precisely. Whether or not the “rules” are elastic, that elasticity is not called into question here. All moderators agree that the thread by CandidGamera belongs in The Pit. Those moderators who have opined on the subject have agreed that Bricker’s thread was not required to be in The Pit.
