  1. I got a yummy egg salad sandwich at Noah’s Bagel for lunch.

  2. Our apartment building’s Christmas tree came today (thanks to our new manager) and it smells good! Our old managers never got one even though they have a fund for such things, something I’ve learned from the new guy.

  3. Jodi is a fellow Seattlite and possibly Gazelle from Hell, judging from the Buca di Beppo statement. Who else on this board is enjoying our first really rainy day in months? Or not enjoying it, as the case may be. :stuck_out_tongue:

  1. I’m going home for Christmas after my first semester at a college far, far away from home. I leave a week from today!

  2. I recieved from a friend a tea storage container, for free, and for no good reason!

  3. The Spurs, Mavericks, and Rockets are all above 50%. Texas basketball is king.

OK, I’ve been going through a fairly rough patch lately, and things promise to get rougher before they get smoother, but I am going to try. I am going to sit here and stare at the screen until I come up with Three Good Things. Here goes:

  1. I’ve been invited to a New Year’s Eve party that I’m really looking forward to.

  2. As I mentioned in another thread, I’m a psychotic Atlanta Falcons fan, plus I’m a UGA grad, so I’ve been having a truly wonderful football season.

  3. Ah, hell. All I can come up with is that I’m listening to a great song right now. It’s going to end in a few moments though.

[sub]Well, that was an exercise in depressing futility, and even coming up with those three took only, uh, 25 minutes…[/sub]

  1. It’s not November anymore! I hate November and love December. Blue sky days a few degrees above freezing make me feel hop skippety. I went for a walk and a run yesterday, and it was brilliant. Just the right mix of cold wind, warm sunshine and warm clothes.
  2. I baked some apple and cinnamon muffins, and they are very good.
  3. This Saturday I’m going to Birmingham to visit Cadbury World with some friends. Chocolate joy.

  1. Someone gave my office a big tin of popcorn. Three different kinds! I get to mix up cheese popcorn, butter popcorn, and carmel corn all in one big bowl and eat until my stomach hurts.

  2. Waiting for me at home this evening will be my husband, my cat, a fire in the fireplace and my christmas tree.

3 Despite eating all the popcorn I have lost 5 pounds in the past month. Five more to go!

  1. My fiancee and I decorated our first christmas tree together - it’s uglier than sin, but it’s ours and it makes me happy!

  2. I’ve had 3 snowdays in two weeks, and only 6 more schools days until Christmas break [and I get two weeks off then].

  3. I have a man who loves me, I teach classes of kids who think I’m great, have some very good friends, and go to sleep smiling every day. Life is pretty good, isn’t it?

  1. For the first time in my life I am in a vibrant, healthy, passionate, fulfilling relationship with a man who makes me laugh.

  2. I love books! The second hand book store near me is closing down. All hard covers are $4 and all soft covers are $3.

  3. I’m not freezing.

  3. Moving out of my small town and back to Indy in 2 weeks.

  1. Tracked down the woman who can track down the negatives of my parents’ wedding pictures, which were destroyed in a flooding basement incident years ago.

  2. I surprised myself by putting a piece of torrone in my lunch for today.

  3. Six more work days until I’m done with this unfulfilling job!

  3. Watching my 5-year-old offering bites of his cookie to everyone in the family (even though he rarely gets to eat cookies…the sugar, y’know)
