Three Wishes

Your magical genii has just appeared from the lamp and granted you three wishes… what would you request?

  1. That Karma and Dogma really did happen.

  2. That children never have to suffer

  3. Lifetime membership to my waterslide park

things.” --Edgar Degas

Should the “Unlimited wishes” choice be eliminated?

If so

  1. Money equal to the amount that Disneyworld spends on electricity in a decade.
  2. Health and happiness for anyone important to me.
  3. Mariah Carey

Without a doubt, all kidding aside, the only thing that I think I would wish for would be a cure for breast cancer.

Well, i don’t know about the first two, but my last wish would be for more wishes!

1> That I and everyone I care about live as long and as comfortably as the wishes will allow for.

2> That whenever I need to buy something I can reach into my pocket and pull out the exact amount I need.

3> A book that I can open to a random page and find the answer to any question I might have.

Selfish Wishes:

To have enough money that I never have to worry about money.

That it could be warm in the winter, and still snow.

To have a photographic memory.

Selfless Wishes

That I could buy every kid in the world a really cool birthday present.

That the Backstreet Boys decide to become roadies for some obscure Indonesian bar band.

That all collection agencies would suddenly realize that they’re basically terrorists and decide to send all the money they’ve collected to worthy charities.

  1. That my son will be spared any hurt for the rest of his really long, successful life.

  2. Health and good fortune for everyone I care about.

  3. That my SO would propose. With a real ring and everything.

I try to stay away from those wish-granting guys. I’d probably end up with a 12-inch pianist or an ostrich and a cat who stiffs the bartender or something like that.

Livin’ on Tums, Vitamin E and Rogaine

  1. I agree with you Wiggum, i would have my mom here with me now if there was.
  2. That this day be over cuz it really sucks
  3. That everyone be happy and healthy

We are, each of us angels with only one wing;
and we can only fly by
embracing one another

  1. That businesses and everyone involved with them would be more interested in providing quality than getting profits.

  2. That I and everyone else in the world would know the truth about religion (whatever that truth may be).

  3. Perpetual life at my current physical age until I decide for it to end. (Or more wishes if it’s allowed.)

Be careful about what you wish for… It may come true…

Yer pal,
Satan

The only 3 wishes I would want is #1. good health of my family and I. #2 For my baby and I to live closer #3 the last one has to do with a bit of a family issue that is WAY too personal to discuss on here, but I wish for it anyway.

Why not wish for a cure for all diseases, cancer included?

Heck, why not just wish for immortality? It sure beats a kick in the pants.
Me, personally, I’d probably wish for:

  1. An unlimited, free, energy source that it is harmless to harvest;

  2. A safe, cheap, super-condensed way to store said energy for instant use (modern batteries are WAY too bulky, heavy, and expensive); and

  3. A pepperoni pizza right about now.

How about wishing for a world in which resources are so plentiful that there’d be no need to make profits to begin with? (Like in the Star Trek universe, with those damned Replicators capable of making all the necessities and luxuries of life just by your speaking a voice command.)

Because I don’t believe the issue is resources. It has more to do with human nature. ('Course I could be wrong.)

Someone on this board is my alter-ego. For my entire known life, my wishes have been:

1)To have the power of Superman
2)To be able to reach into my pocket and pull out the exact amount of money I need.
And
3)To have a book that could answer any question I asked in exacting and perfect detail, with, if needed, step by step instructions

Damn incredible, no?

Right now, though, they are:

1)To have the power of Superman
2)To be Jeana’s hero
3)To have my personal peace and trust in humanity restored

Reasons:

1)He is the epitome of everything I would like to be. Strong, tall, handsome, and he can fly, has heat vision, nigh invulnerable, perfect micro, macro, tele, and normal-scopic vision, has incredible audible range, amongst others. The Perfect man.
2)She needs one. Someone to make things right for her, someone she can depend on. Someone to lean on, someone to trust in, and someone to believe in. Someone who loves her.
3)The world was a better place.

Feeling defeated (though not by kryptonite or magic),

We are the children of the Eighties. We are not the first “lost generation” nor today’s lost generation; in fact, we think we know just where we stand - or are discovering it as we speak.

I’ve always wanted three wishes; here’s mine.

  1. To have Jessica well.
  2. To be able to live where I want - now!
  3. To take my children with me.
  1. For my son to be safe for the rest of his life, part of that would be for a certain person to cease existing.

  2. For heartache to end after the first lesson, for this to happen the lesson would have to have been embraced.

  3. For money not to be an issue, for anyone.

PS, If I got a fourth one for good behavior it would be for Drain Bead to fall head over heals in love with me.

Manhatten.very funny! Me,1.Everyone in the world to be healthy. 2.No more crime. 3.Me and my son together 4ever.

I make a wish twice a day every day at 11:11. I take Novemeber 11th off as a holiday. Anyway, I have a standard wish that I always wish for. I always wish for love and happiness to everyone I know and love. Money doesn’t really matter. If you can survive then you are making enough money. It would be nice to have more but not necessary.

If the wishes came with the stipulation that it had to be selfish wishes I would wish for the following:

  1. I wish that I could grow any plant to any size instantaneously by concentrating on it.

  2. I wish that I could teleport.

  3. I wish that no one else could duplicate my new found super powers.

Hey, I like the uniqueness.

HUGS!
