I’d wish to be healthy, happy, and loved.

I’m not adding any caveats because I’ve played enough corrupted wish to know that someone can always think their way around it so I’ll just wish for what I want and let the chips fall where they may.

I always thought it would be neat to be able to read and write, speak and understand, every language on Planet Earth.

I would wish to know what I actually want, in all situations from career choices to relationships to what to have for lunch. Admittedly this could backfire really badly, I’m not sure if I want to know what’s going on in my subconscious. Assuming it didn’t drive me insane, I’d then have a much better idea of what to do with the second and third wish.

Whether or not I get my wish, there’s no point to the two other wishes.

  1. Techniques for curing any infectious disease that can afflict humanity.
  2. The functional equivalent of the Fountain of Youth.
  3. Stock in the companies that bring (1) and (2) to market.

Voluntary immortality in my 14-year old body–I will be forever young and thin, and never die until I decide I want to.
A source of unlimited money in any currency I want.

Similar to this, my first wish would have to be:

I wish that this wish, and all subsequent wishes, to be interpreted and fulfilled in exactly the manner in which I intend them.

For 2 & 3, you can then make them as vague and open-ended as you (heh) wish, since the first wish means that any wish you make will be interpreted exactly the way you want them to be.

You’re only fourteen. Your only sexual partners will be seriously underage.

She’s not 14, she just looks like one. But at some point nobody will believe she’s as old as her actual age and any adult she has sex with will be charged with statuatory rape. Conversely, if she has sex with anyone of the age she appears to be, she will be commiting statuatory rape. So sticking with an 18 years or older body is the way to go.

Actually, it’s zinc, at around $1.40 a pound, but do it and you’ll wind up in prison, as it’s a federal offense to melt pennies and nickles for their metal content.

I would wish for:

  1. For concentrations of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and methane to return to the levels we had in 1550.

  2. I would like every person on Earth to have a renewable, maintainable, safe, non-property-damaging, and easily accessible source of plentiful clean, potable water.

  3. I would like my student loan debt to be wiped away in a clerical error that goes undetected until after I’m dead.
