Kif Kaf the same as a Kit Kat? In high school, we had Kit Kats in the apple machine, so they stayed nice and cool.
Yup, back in 2000 our roomie and her kid emigrated to Australia so we get to trade junk food care packages back and forth, she gets American stuff, I get tim-tams and musk sticks =)

So they changed the name just enough to avoid a trademark dispute with Nestle?

Dunno. The wrapper was in Hebrew. For all I know, they’re a Nestlé product.
Look at the packaging in the photo in post #2. The actual wrappers say TimTam.
