A new restaurant here made supper and it was delish. I had wood fire grilled chicken and risotto with carrots, green beans and spare guts. Yummy but pricy.
I have to irk a half day tomorrow alone. I foresee a madhouse. Today was the busiest day of the year money wise. Hopefully we took care of some customers that will not be there tomorrow.
After irk I need to hang around and do some paperwork since we are going to be closed on Moanday.
I envy you the martini, and wonder if it explains “jalapeno cilantro compound butter”.

Last night I was running on a(n appropriately named) runway, this morning I’m flying from a…church!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 73 Amurrkin, partly cloudy (daylight is almost upon us!) and hyooooooooomid, with a predicted high of 85 and rain/tstorms/apocalypse maybe this afternoon. Didn’t get a lot of rain yestiddy so I’m guessin’ some of the church yahd got mowed. I shall be over there in a while to assist with the back forty mowage. Spidey is flyin’ from a church and I am mowin’ at a church. It’s as if we’re twins! 
CupCakes Miss Edna sounds like someone I would have enjoyed knowin’. I’m guessin’ her memorial service will be large.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should make myself look somewhat presentable and head over to the church house. Fun mornin’ ahead.

Home from Scotland. My kitteh has missed me apparently. She has meowed non-stop since I walked in. Fell asleep at 7:30,woke up at 2:45 due to the thunder boomers, got up at 5:30. Excessive heat warning for the next 48 hours. The first load of laundry is in. My living room looks like a bomb went off. I missed Ursala and Ariel but nothing else. I think I’m a Scot at heart.
In the latest episode of Weird Weather - it dropped into the 50s overnight. Starting tomorrow, we have a stretch of highs in the 90s and all kinds of heat warnings. Sheer insanity!!
I plan to take advantage of the cool and transplant some daylilies today. The garden by the porch is overrun. I’d rather they overrun the hill. I’m also going to move some firewood for FCD. Plus, of course, there’s laundry.

Up at 5am to watch World Cup soccer, got my vacation mail and newspaper stops put n during halftime so I have been ambitious for such an early hour.

Up, caffeinating, breakfasted, puppy crate sanitized, towels and sheets in the wash. Eight AM and I’s tahred already. 
I’m meeting up with my SIL and a friend for dinner this afternoon, then off to the brew pub to listen to another friend’s Celto-eclectic band perform. It should be a fun evening without keeping any of us out too late (I’m the youngest of us and the friend is using a walker after back surgery, so we’re somewhat old and/or decrepit ). Meanwhile, I’m going to do some irk on the patio and make the colomorbus for tomorrow evening’s supper.

I have been enjoying the cool nights FCM, but I think we will have to turn on the AC soon.
I’m holding off for a long as I can since I love open windows and fresh air.

Two loads of laundry on the line, and I moved our firewood from the damp side of the house to the back on the concrete pad. We’re not expecting rain till Weds, so I’m leaving the stack uncovered to dry out. I’ve also watered (and am watering) the drainage ditch along the back driveway. And the spot where the firewood sat will become the new home of the generator. Probably not today, but soon.
After a break, I’ll move some lilies. And, alas, I’ll have to close the house soon. It’s up to 73° outside already. But we got a little fresh air, so there’s that.
Maybe you folks can send me some good vibes, I need them. For the past couple days I’d been noticing my dog Mauser shaking his head a lot, or digging at his ears.
This morning early I took a look at them and was horrified to see how red they were inside, and his eyes were bloodshot too. I took him to the vet and he’s staying for the weekend at least. He had a temperature and some kind of swelling was noticed in his nodes. So a bad infection at least, the source of which I don’t know.
The vet gave him an antibiotic shot and wants to send off cultures from his ears, for further guidance on what meds he needs. I told him whatever he thinks should be done, to do it, I’ll figure out paying for it later.
I feel so bad I didn’t take him in sooner. But he’d been eating well, drinking well, and, shall we say, processing well what he’s eaten and drunk. I’m missing Mauser so much, even though I know he’s getting the care he needs. Give your pets extra scritches, and hopefully I’ll have my doggie back soon.
I am making positive waves.

Howdy Y’all! Home from church yahd mowage and all showered and cleanded. One of the zero turn mowers decided not to work today. It cranked up but couldn’t get the blades to engage so we were down to one rider and two push mowers. Took a while to accomplish all the mowage. I was already on the workin’ rider so I continued doin’ all the ride parts stoppin’ only to pee and gas up again. Still, almost five hours of mowage today. We’s a tahrd group of folks.

Home from irk. It was nonstop and even after I locked up a poor chap drove up begging so of course I went back inside to help him. I now have 2 1/2 day’s off. I have been awake since 330 am. I woke up to have a sneezing fit I guess. I have took two benedryl and still not over it. I foresee two more and a nap.

Laaaazy day today, barely worth getting out of jammies. I’m off up to my old city tomorrow, been messaging people seeing who’s around.
Ironically, one of them, who hadn’t replied, just texted me from a new number, saying ‘Hey, wanna meet up tomorrow?’ Turns out they’re down here for a holiday… Looks like we’ll be briefly meeting up here, then both heading off in the same direction. So, not gonna be an early start to the trip tomorrow, but I guess it all works out the same in the end!

swampy, grass cutting is planned for Wednesday before I leave on vacation so it doesn’t turn into a jungle by the time I get home.
Been hanging around the house watching the World Cup, except for an hour’s nappage. Will have to get out for a bit but nothing much planned.
