Time for breakfast in the MMP

Today is all :confused:.
First there was the SDMB version of To Tell The Truth - W

(BTW, my usual is two bowls of cereal, & just had my mid-morning snack, a TastyKake pie today; & good luck getting thru the day, Robyn.)

Then I pulled the car out & looked at it. It appears that I drove over some tar with the rear wheel so what I thought looked (& felt) like paint spidering in is actually strings of tar. So now I’m confused as to why the two panels weren’t lined up. Hopefully the car wash is open late so I can clean it before coming home to rub the Bug & Tar remover over it (so I don’t grind in the dirt!) to see if there really us any damage.

Howdy, Zone inspections went very well. Just a couple things that are out of my control. Boy am I glad that is over.

I have a massive headache on only one side of my head so I assume it is a sinus infection or blockage. I have made a Dr. appt for tomorrow. I needed to see the doc anyway to re-up my pills.

I was at irk extra early to hide my chemicals (cleaners and bug spray) I’m not supposed to have and hide **Louie’s ** dog bed and food and water bowls. He had to stay home today lest the XO see him.

No breakfast here today but I did have two coffee’s and am about to have some leftover spaghetti I brought in for N.O.L.

When I do have breakfast I like grits, eggs, bacon or ham or sausage and toast. I usually eat non-breakfast foods though.

MamaDoors sounds like someone who I would have liked, rockin’. RIP.

During the workweek, breakfast is usually an egg and cheese sammich with hot sauce on a sandwich thin unless there’s a breakfast meeting. On days off at home, it’s usually eggs, bacon or ham and grits or toast. Road trips require a Sonic breakfast burrito with tots. All washed down with copious amounts of coffee. :slight_smile:

Job interview. Today. 1500.

I was due to leave around 1330, got clearance to bail an hour early. (For those who don’t know, my current employer is a training/experience program whose purpose is to prep us for real jobs.)

If I land this thing, I’m out of retail, and doing bookkeeping for a management company that handles HOAs (and yes, I will refrain from jokes involving that X-Files episode until I know what they think is amusing). What the deal will be is a “business partnership”, where current program pays my wages during a trial period, then if employer likes me, they start paying me. They’re aware I’m a student and willing to work around it, especially since current program only pays me for 28 hours/week anyway. Once I’m out of school, we can talk about full-time.

Currently at home, with nice blouse/skirt dewrinkling in the dryer (I hope), about to shovel down some lunch before hitting the shower.

Home from work! Boy, howdy, did Jason keep me busy this afternoon! Between new drawings and making corrections to drawings in work to revising a couple of older drawings, I had no idle time at all. Which is great - the day flew by!

I’m making a chicken dish for supper - I think it’ll be served over noodles instead of rice, just because I find rice to be boring. And I’ll be hitting the sheets early - I am exhausted!

At least there’s ice cream! :smiley:

I screwed up the grocery shopping, I bought way too much frozen stuff and we can’t fit all of it in the freezer. I put some of it in the fridge and will cook it sometime tonight or tomorrow morning.

I took a little nap since I’ve been up since 4:30. Had some weird dreams that woke me up.

Laundry can wait until tomorrow. Sometime this week I have to do my taxes.

Howdy Y’all! Irk has been survived and dindin made and et. I made chikin fajitas and they were goooooooooooooooooooood! OLÈ! It feels like rain outta be comin’ on in which it may this evenin’.

Nettie appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed re the interview. Seems like sump’n you really want to do judgin’ from your post.

I had snausage gravy over bizkits, scrambled aigs, and grits this mornin’. Plus coffee. A normal day’s brekkie is more along the lines of yogurt with banana, and a bowl of cereal. Occasionally I’ll actually cook, but that’s mostly on the weekend.

My other big accomplishment today was orderin’ catfish fillets from the Pubic sto’ for Firday’s fisn ‘n chips over to the church house. I’m takin’ Firday off to prep for this as I’ll need to pick up the fish, do grocery shoppin’, cut the fillets into strips, get the outdoor cookers set up and all that there fun type stuff. Fortunately I have my crew of cooks so the actual cookin’ will be relatively easy but intense to get everything done on time.

And that’s the news from swampland.

My car is trashed! Whatever I drove thru I did it on both wheels on that side. The front fender, under the door sill, & even the rear door has some. Given how much there is, the car would definitely need to be waxed afterwards; however, given the time of year/temps I may ::gasp:: need to take it to a car place. I have never done this in my life, always waxing my own cars. ::grumble, grumble, grumble money, pride grumble, grumble, grumble::

Ice cream has been ingested. I think I’ll throw together a lunch for tomorrow then hit the rack.

Thanks for the condolences, y’all. The funeral mass was beautiful, as was the burial. I think I’m going to take tomorrow off from work, just to get myself together.

I usually have some kind of aigs and PB&J toast for breakfast . I eat lunch late in the day, so breakfast has gotta last awhile!

Starting WAHA (work from home) this week… so you probably will be seeing more of me around. ** PB **and I just celebrated out fourth wedding anniversary (which means I’ve been a mumper longer than that, because I remember posting about it in here! Dang. where’s the time go?)
Working on various projects for home & church, playing on the 'net, and reading when I have time, so nothing too earth shattering :slight_smile:

I started the process today to get my job transferred back to Oregon. Here’s hoping it all goes smoothly.
