I just noticed the time stamp for a post I made a few minutes ago read 6:53 AM. My Time stamp settings are for Eastern Time (Eastern US & Canada, Lima) and to automatically detect Daylight Time.
Here in the US, Daylight Time doesn’t end for another couple of weeks. Is the Detect Daylight Time Setting still using the old dates for Daylight Time?
Daylight saving ends tomorrow night, not not “for another couple of weeks.” Regardless, I’m still showing the correct DST on my post. Check your settings in the user CP, do you have “adjust automatically for DST”?
Is it tomorrow night? For some reason, I had it in my head that it ended the second Sunday in November, not the first.
Anyhow, I did double-check my settings before I posted. My first assumption is always that I screwed up.
My Time zone is: (GMT -5:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada), Bogota, Lima
My DST Correction Option is: Automatically detect DST settings.
Huh. And you’ve still got the wrong time? Because those are my settings and I’ve got the right time.
Sorry, we’ll have to wait for someone more techno-savvy than I to come along.
