I use no internet and play pretty quickly. I’ve decided 35,000 or higher is a good enough score based on my play.
Today, only 32,000. I’ve done worse and better.
I missed the image that was in Australia…..that I thought was in Wyoming, USA. Cost me everything.
A no-google 44,172 - happy with that. I only really messed up round 2, the rest were all high 9kers. Probably a bit lucky with my years as normally I’m way off.

I kind of move quick and use no other websites, just looking, zooming, and making my estimate.
42,963 — which would usually require (a lot of) look ups. But today’s pix made the general locations easy, and the decades manageable.

No google, got a 9998 on the Obama one. That cell phone in the Paris one struck me as older than 2025, so I was off a few years.

Today(August 29), I really thought the final one would be 1995, the 50th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing. Nope.
Had to post today’s score to show off a bit. No Googling and still managed to score 48,224.
I got VERY lucky with some of the years. In fact I got 4 years out of 5 dead on!
And for the last round I just had an inking about what stadium it was based on the language I could see and the design of the jerseys.

It was a temporary blip. Today I was over 20 years out on one round, and 12 years out on another.
Today’s daily was the first time I tried TimeGuessr, and it was pretty easy. Joe Biden, visiting Angola. So it must be 2020-2024 and at an airport in Angola.
Unfortunately, with no googling, I guessed the year wrong (2023 vs 2024) and also incorrectly assumed he’d be visiting the capital.
Still, 9044 points is not bad!
