I suppose its a fairly minor problem in the overall picture, but the server time is once again approching 20 min off.

By gum, you can set your watch by the SDMB server clock! Of course, your watch will be wrong all the time, but you can still do it.
Has it ever occured to you that maybe the entire rest of the Universe is off and it’s the SDMB server that’s right?
We dopers don’t like to be seen as behind the times. Without the correct time we can’t tell when it’s time to dress for dinner or when the light entertainment programme is coming on the wireless radiogram.
Ok, so I’m anal about time. If my watch is off by 30 seconds I am bothered until it is fixed. I try not to push my obsession off on other people, but sometimes its just too much. I hold the straight dope up as a example of correctness and this glaring time error is just too much for me to take.
It’s pathetic really isn’t it.
