I have a small favorite calculator that I bought in Paris in 1999. A few of the LCD characters no longer entirely show. Is there any way this can be repaired?
According to this link, yes: http://www.exisle.net/mb/index.php?/topic/75165-easy-repair-of-alphanumeric-lcd-displays-on-consumer-devices/
Yes . . . I’m gonna try it, after I learn what I’m doing.
Thanks.
Another option would be to find the part number of the lcd display (it was probably used on many other devices), buy a new one and replace the one that went kapput.
