I know I hardly ever post here anymore, but there was a time…anyway:
I’m proud to announce the arrival of Laserkitty and my baby girl- Saffron Helen on Wednesday, October 25[sup]th[/sup], at 4:25 PM.
She was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 20 inches long.
She was a week past due, and we were induced. That started at 7:00 AM and by 3:45, she was fully dilated. Two contractions with three pushes each and we had to hold for the doctor, the baby was right there. The doctor showed up, one contraction, two pushes, and bam!, I’m a father!
We’re all back home today. Baby is doing well and has figured out how to eat without any real coaching. I changed the first diaper in the hospital, it was like tar, but not too bad. She’s a keeper.
Please tell me you mean Wednesday the 11th - otherwise, I want to know where she got her super time traveling powers!

I’ve seen pictures. She’s a beauty and she’s got lotsa hair. Many congratulations, E. The baby blankie is on the way… when my own lets me have time to work on it.
Congratulations! Now you’ll have a reason to come back and post periodically (baby pictures, anecdotes, toddler pictures…) - I’m looking forward to it!
