“Make America Kittens again” is the name of the app. It will turn (almost) any picture of Trump into a picture of kittens.
It doesn’t work 100%. Still though, I love it.

Wonder how the extension works. Obviously, if it has Trump in the filename or alt/title text, it’s kinda obvious. Ideally we’d use facial recognition, but that’s a bit much for an extension. You could maybe do it remotely, and then just make a list of hashes for the images, though. Maybe use a Google’s attempt at identifying images.
Or, less accurately, you could look for Trump’s name in the page, and then do very basic facial recognition–as in, is there a face in it?
Probably just the simple keyword one, though. That’s fairly easy to code.
It would most likely make me start to hate the sight of kittens, and that would be a bad thing.
Would the kittens have double chins?

Sadly, it doesn’t seem to work the main place where I stumble across he-who-must-not-be-named’s face, which is AOL’s main page (not my home page, but I use it for email because it has been reliable for me when outlook wasn’t and because I’m not in a field where having AOL would raise eyebrows). It has worked sporadically a few other places. It does make me wonder what other substitutes might be made; I was thinking I might like to see all Kardashians replaced with Sal Mineo in his heyday.

However, I did notice an odd side effect - at least one of the emoticons on SDMB gets recognized as a Trump picture, for some reason, and gets replaced with illegibly tiny kitten pictures.
Is there anything like this out there for Firefox?
